European Conference - DECARBONISING MOBILITY

About the conference

The European conference on “Decarbonising mobility: the future of transport infrastructure financing”, organised as part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, was held on 22 February 2022. Despite the difficulties caused by the ongoing health situation, representatives from 15 European Union countries took part in this day, either at the Maison de la Chimie or remotely.

The financing of transport infrastructure is a real concern when it comes to thinking about and building sustainable, durable and inclusive mobility. For this reason, we were keen to initiate a dialogue between transport infrastructure financing institutions, scientists and public stakeholders. Following the success of this first step, we hope that this dialogue will continue during future meetings and that we will have the pleasure of meeting you there.

In order to make the contributions available to as many people as possible, we will publish the proceedings of this conference, in good time for the TEN-T days in June.
